Due to ongoing expansion, DAJO Solutions require an industrial engineer with electrical engineering skills to work within the SCAV (Smart Connected Autonomous Vehicles) field. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop a specialism in an emerging field of engineering.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will be responsible for the implementation and testing of smart devices into industrial vehicle systems.

Key skill areas for this role include:

  • Prototype engineering of smart industrial vehicles
  • Electrical engineering
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Site visits and supporting existing customers
  • Fluent in wiring and/or electrical diagrams
  • Keen to learn new skills

This role is ideal for an existing engineer wanting to develop their career in this niche area. Previous experience of electrical and/or vehicle engineering within a commercial environment would be highly advantageous.

There will be occasional travel to customer sites to complete specific tasks without direct supervision, therefore the ability to work independently or as part of a small team is essential. In these instances communication is key and we do require someone with the ability to deliver clear,  concise communication.

In addition, whilst the majority of this role will revolve around engineering of mobile machines, there will be occasions when you will be required to work on more traditional static projects.
